Microwave Road Seminar #1 - a success for the new MWR

Microwave Road has restarted and a new plattform for communication sharing kowledge is build in LinkedIn via a new LinkedIn Group: Microwave Road. For 2009, 4 seminars are planned and the first was held on April 20. The topic was E-bands Gigabit Radio link and LTE/4G Radio access.

About 30 members came to listen and take active part at the seminar.
We heard Yinggag Li from Ericsson Research talk about E-band Gigabit radio link for mobile broadband back haul and Anders Fagerholt gave us an overview on LTE/4G Radio access.
Leif Bergsted and Erik Bick talked about the Practice project last year and the ambitions to run a new program later this year. Finally we had a discussion on how to get most out of our new MWR.
