Idevio selected for Telenor Playground
Idevio been selected as partner at Telenor Playground. Idevio's mobile map service Locago will be showcased at the Playground portal. Locago, the mobile map application owned and developed by Idevio, is now presented at Telenor Playground. Telenor Playground is a Telenor Group initiative, created to present innovative and relevant solutions internally to the world wide operators in the Telenor Group. The mission of Telenor Playground is to be a live community where the Telenor operators can stay up to date with the latest telco-relevant solutions.-Idevio was selected as a Playground partner as they, through their mobile LBS application Locago, demonstrate several usage areas for maps in mobile services, says Simen Wolneberg at Telenor Playground.
Locago is a new mobile map browser with directions and gps support. With Locago you use the mobile map to browse business listings and traffic info, geotagged articles and images, weather forecasts, touristic webcams and other content layers. Locago has an open api for third party content and enables all users to create new layers of content.
